Chippendale Carved Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Work: 33 in. high, 41 ½ in. wide, 21 ½ in. deep

Date: ca. 1780. Molded edge top, two short drawers, over three graduated long drawers, molded base, shaped ogee feet.

This chest started as a chest of drawers, but alterations are significant. The case sides and quarter columns appear to be old. The top is a replacement made of repurposed wood.
